Our mission is to provide information and resources to people with ataxia where they live and to continue to fund the best possible research. Supporters can now feel confident knowing research dollars will go to projects screened by an esteemed national organization and be eligible for a Canadian tax receipt.

The second Canadian Ataxia Conference to be held on October 12th and 13th 2013 in London Ontario

The Canadian Ataxia Conference elevates Ataxia awareness throughout the country and raises funds for disability support and medical research. Ataxia is a neurological hereditary disease that has over 50 gene types. CAFA Central is looking for additional Board Members and Community Representatives

We are the Central branch for CAFA (Canadian Association Familial Ataxias). Our branch is just starting out and we are looking for volunteers and board members to help establish support for Ataxians and Ataxia research in Ontario and Manitoba.
